Filip has worked in hearing science and the hearing aid business since 2007. In 2017 he joined then Widex, now WS Audiology in a role as Director Audiology. In 2019 he took over the lead of the research unit Scientific Audiology across Denmark, Sweden and Germany, today known as the ORCA Labs.

Filip’s research interests are broad, spanning psychoacoustics, diagnostics, audiology and psychology. Always, with a focus on hearing loss, hearing solution, and the people living with hearing loss.

Early in his career his focus was on developing sensitive and relevant outcome measures, that could guide hearing aid development. In recent years this focus has been broadened
to the study of conversations, social participation, identifying hearing aid user intent, and not least exploring ways to ease
and motivate hearing aid use.
